ALZHEIMER'S AID SOCIETYOF NORTHERN CALIFORNIAWhat We Do The Alzheimer's Aid Society of Northern California has grown over the years to play a vital role in the lives of caregivers and their families. We assist these individuals by offering a bi-monthly newsletter, information packets that include our well-known “blue book,” in-service training, and our annual Caregiver’s Conference. In addition, we use donation dollars by providing direct services such as legal assistance, home visits, respite for caregivers and patient evaluation and placement in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Assisted Living Facility. Staffed by volunteers, our aim is to provide assistance to anyone who asks for our help. In order to further our mission, the Alzheimer's Aid Society of Northern California has several fund raisers each year. We offer our Annual 5K Memorial Run/Walk in July, our Drive ‘Fore’ the Cure Golf Tournament in September, and, for the first time ever, our Modesto location sponsored a “Harvest Moon Auction & Dinner” in October. Please go to the Special Events link for details on upcoming events. The Alzheimer’s Aid Society of Northern California has two offices to help you with your individual needs. They are located at:
